  • What it Covers: Your insurance benefits can be used for your initial "Deep Dive" medical evaluation, follow-up medical management, sick visits, and ordering standard laboratory bloodwork.

  • Your Cost: You are only responsible for your standard specialist copay or deductible, which is collected at the time of your visit.

  • Clinical Note: Please be aware that insurance strictly covers medical evaluations. Elective wellness services (like IV Vitamin Drips, Lipotropic Injections, and compounded weight loss medications) are not covered by insurance and are strictly self-pay.

Option 2: The Pay-Per-Visit Route (Transparent Self-Pay)

  • Maybe. Empower Wellness is an integrative medical practice. We are in network with BCBSTX, Tricare and others are pending. However, wellness infusions, injections, and some labs are not covered by most insurances.

  • The standard primary care model is built for urgent, acute issues using 15-minute visits, standardized protocols, and symptom-masking prescriptions. Empower Wellness is built for holistic optimization. Instead of a rushed 15-minute appointment, our consults are 60 to 90 minutes long. Instead of masking symptoms with a pill, we focus on root-cause reversal through highly personalized, integrative protocols. We give you the time and attention you deserve.

  • No. We are a functional medicine and hormone optimization clinic. While we offer therapeutic injections, we do not offer aesthetic services like Botox or fillers. Our focus is internal health, metabolic restoration, and hormonal balance.

  • It is critical to understand that while we accept insurance for medical consultations, commercial health insurance (including BCBS TX) does not cover wellness-based IV hydration, "Blueprint" nutritional infusions, or vitamin injections. By law, we cannot bill insurance for these services. Therefore, all IV therapies and vitamin injections remain direct cash-pay services. We do accept HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) cards for all services, including IVs and injections.

  • Because you aren't paying for a "quick check-up." You are paying for a 60-minute clinical deep-dive, a full review of your medical history, and—if in-person—a medical-grade Body Composition Analysis. This is the foundation of your Empower Blueprint™.

  • To ensure total transparency, you pay for your labs at-cost directly to our partner, Rupa Health. Most comprehensive functional panels range from $250–$355. We never mark up lab costs, so you get the most advanced testing at the lowest possible price. We can also adjust lab panels for focused care. You are welcome to use insurance for your labs.

  • Yes, if clinically indicated. These are included in our Metabolic Reset and Ultimate Transformation packages. We use high-quality, FDA-regulated 503A compounding pharmacies to ensure you receive safe, effective therapy without the "pharmacy counter" headaches.

  • Traditional medicine often looks at "normal" lab ranges and sends you home, even if you still feel terrible. A Metabolic Deep Dive is different.
